By Keven Ellison

Office technology is hardware and software to empower businesses to communicate, sell, operate, account, manage, and support. For example, hardware devices could include copiers, printers, VoIP Phones, servers, and wide format printers. Software examples may include finance, desktop, mobile, logistics, website, security, shipping, networking, and telecommunications software.

Today, more businesses rely on office technology in order to automate tasks to monitor, report, and distribute information to personnel or other systems. Office technology is the lifeblood of the majority of businesses in the US and will continue to play a major role from startups to enterprise organizations.
