The Definition of a Multi Function Copier [In Under 100 Words]
June 13th, 2018

A Multi Function Copier is also known as a copy machine, copier, photocopier, multi-function printer, or MFP. Over the last few years, printers and copiers have merged into a single device with the same feature set.
Originally the name for this device was a multi-function peripheral, and this device could scan, print, copy, and fax. Over time, this name has commingled with other names such as printer and copier. So, you may hear someone interchange the terms in multi function copier with multi-function printer, MFP or copier. The terms all refer to the same device.
